So do you come across an article, where author shares the Top 10 Resources for some particular topic. The point is if you do a simple Google Search, you will realize that these topic already appear on the first page of the google.

The goal for productivity is really simple. All you need to do is remove distraction, do some basic google search related to the topic. Select one Resource and stay committed to it for at least a month.

You won’t see effective results unless and until you spend longer time with a single resource.
Building a list of topic is just a professional way to procrastinate, you will hardly refer it.

The feeling to have the entire resource around yourself must be curbed to allow distraction and focused work environment.

There maybe enough article as Top 5 trending languages to learn, Top 5 tools to increase productivity, Top 20 tricks.
These are just keywords written just to draw your attention.
Ask yourself how many article do you actually implement and even if you, how many you implement you use it in your daily life?

There are many psychological experiment which has shown the fact the longest sequence human can recall is seven. Then why you should read Top 10 tricks ?. There will be handful of tips which will be useful to you and that too you will remember the only tips or tricks if you have struggled really hard and while reading the blog. Your reaction would be like “Yes, I could have done this. Would have saved so much time.”

Revision is important to remember the list. I assure you after one day, you won’t even remember majority of the Tips and Tricks you have read.

Many people forget to revise the concept they have learned and complain about the fact they are not able to get the desired results.

To be honest, Blog explaining a particular topic is good. But if it pops out randomly, that means you are not following a particular order and reading/understanding a topic, which is not in chronology order.

Following a chronology is important. Remember, Do not just start reading and understanding random topics. Read only if you are facing trouble.
I have nothing against the author. It might be the best article, but the point is I give you a book and tell you to read from the middle of the page. Would you understand the story?
You have to follow it from start and if you are facing a trouble understanding the concept, only then refer to a blog.
In such a way, you will be able to see desired results.

The goal to understand what you should read is really simple!

Step 1) Is the article anywhere related to the job you are doing?

Step 2) Will reading the given article improve your knowledge?

You just have to ask yourself to these two question!

I know there might latest technology coming up, you might be excited to read about it.
But do you know, Linux kernel still uses the C language.
Nearly 78.9 percent website still use PHP.

Migrating to a new technology is always a heavy investment. Even companies are too lazy to migrate. There’s one simple rule “If it works, don’ touch it”.
Developer are following this rule since many years.

Before spending your time on new technology, consider these factor.
Old is still the Gold.

Migration and Growth are slow process. You won’t see it all of a sudden. Plus there is no harm in studying technology which is used by majority of the companies. You have to align yourself with the industry keeping customers and client in Mind. System Resources are expensive, have a much broader picture in you mind whenever considering a technology.

So what kind of blog you should follow?
Blogs sharing Personal Experience, Projects, How-to-do, Achievement,
Tutorial, Some issues, Story according to me are the best type of blog.
